Which series phone do you have and what OS are you currently running and who is your carrier? Also, some carriers will void your 1 year warranty on your phone if you install a OS not released by them. I contacted my carrier before upgrading and had them text me a statement saying that upgrading from the RIM Blackberry site would not void my1 year warranty before I would upgrade. Get that information and then check the forum here for the proper OS upgrade for your exact phone. There will be a step by step instruction for you to do this. REMEMBER TO BACK UP YOUR PHONE WITH DESKTOP MANAGER BEFORE TRYING TO UPGRADE YOUR OS because if you have any issues installing the new OS, you can always reinstall Desktop Manager on your PC and download the backup to return your phone to its original settings.
