Default new 7130c user, need help

boy, alright.

i just got a 7130c as a free refurb upgrade when i renewed my contract with cingular/at&t.

i updated to 4.2 because i thought you're supposed to upgrade to the latest software right away. did i jump the gun on this one? i like all of the new tools but i can't arrange/hide applications. the first thing available is setup wizard, and i can't change that.

do i HAVE to go back to 4.1? i'd rather just figure out how to rearrange apps and be happy with 4.2.

i have access to both a mac and pc, so i've been using pocketmac for bb and DM 4.2.

i've had this phone for all of three days now and i love it, but this is going to drive me nuts. i'm very specific about my electronics (annoyingly so!)

ok, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Well, if u hover the cursor above the icon u wish to move, and hit the menu button, you should have the option of hiding, or moving the icon.

i had to really dig, but about three minutes after posting this, i found it in the help section. you'd think they'd make some things easier to find, but oh well.

thanks! i love my new bb, seriously. i had an old LG flip camera phone before this, and it was falling apart. i love new toys. -grin-

I've been using my 7130 about a year..

I upgraded to 4.2 when it first got released to the public, I'm still not sure if I like it.

One recommendation, though, for you and anyone else using an older device, do NOT downgrade to an older version. I've seen a few customers try and take their devices back to 4.1, and it's nothing but a nightmare. it's definitely not something Us/RIM is gonna support.

Anyway, *Register To See Links* will have a TON of useful stuff for you, anything you can't find, feel free to ask.
