So I Need Data Plan?

Default a few quick questions
I just inherited a Blackberry 7290. It seems to be working fine, except it doesn't have the Tasks or Memo applications. I thought these came standard on the phone. Am I wrong? Do I need to download these from somewhere, and can I do this for free?

Yea, your operating system is older and doesnt have these applications built in. All you have to do is upgrade it and the newer version should have those application

You can find all of this at the blackberry.com website
