cannot get theme to work

so... I've been trying to install a new theme on my BB 7100g, but it simply doesn't work. I download the Zip file, extract it, and install the .alx file with my BB desktop manager. Then I've tried to power down my BB and remove the battery, then power the whole thing back up, and I still don't have a new theme to select in my options. Any ideas anyone?

You need to download 7100 themes only...those are the only ones that work. New stuff like the 4.5 themes will not work for this phone
