upgrade 7130 g operating system ?

Hi Have a 7130g on Uk orange network.
The operating system is v4.1.0.317

I have been told that I can ipdate this to a later version that will give me more icons in Blackberry messenger ?
I had a similar phone a year ago, this had additional icons,
How do I update the OS ?
cant seem to find anything on this that works ? Orange support is hopeless
