Default 7130 ebay purchase problems

Hello,

I hope you can help me, i have recently bought a BB 7130v from ebay, i uploaded a new theme to it which was great at first then things started to go wrong, so instead of fixing the little problems i went for the complete re-install of a new OS, after putting the new OS on, my BB went blank and would not turn on, with the LED flashing red 1-4. Now if i leave it for long enough it does eventually turn on to the home screen, but for some reason the date and time have changed, and more importantly it will no longer accept the password that i set, it now tells me 'incorrect password', i have tried installing a new OS and a hard reset and also taking out the IT policy with policy.bin and still no joy, when im trying to connect it to my PC via DM it says 'fatal error please try again' so i do, and get the same back, its driving me crazy, any suggestions from you BB guru's would be great!!

Thanks in advance

Stano

Well from what you have said, you've done everything right. I'm thinking now that there is actually a hardware issue with the phone, and probably why it was being sold on ebay. Can you return it for a refund still?

Anyone else have any ideas?

Red means that you have a message of some sort. If you don't try a battery pull....leave it out for a few minutes, then put it back in and see what happens. If it still won't go away, back up your phone and do a wipe.
