u can use desktop manager /media manager icon , i do it all the time (ver 4.2 ) do u have device manager installed ? note u will have to change the photo size ,as the 8700 has little memory. i use JPEGSIZER 6 it works great. hope this helps u

I orginally had the same problem call BB help thru your carrier and they will walk you thru it. Seems like there was no media for the 8700 series so that had me install the media for the pearl and it worked fine. So call your carrier and this can be fixed.

I have an 8700c and it had Media with the stock OS, now im on 4.5 and its just updated looks wise

do it this way. go to picassa and download it, then upload all your pictures to a web album. On your phone google picassa then go to your website and all your pictures will come on your phone. you can pick and choose then save what you want to your images

from your brower search enter google maps, it will come up, then download it
