Default PocketMac does not recognise device

Hey there,

I just loaded v4.2.1.91 os on to my 8700g and it works fine at work with desktop manager v4.2.1.8.
But the mac at home now does not recognise the device with the new os.
I get the following messages

There were warnings generated during the sync. Would you like to view them now?
i hit yes and get the following
[10:35:45.002] Unable to connect to BlackBerry (error 1); skipping.

something simple I am sure

Do you mean to download the os on to the Mac?
Also it looks like there is only one version of PoacketMac v4.0.20, I might have to wait until this is upgraded!

Make sure that ur BlackBerry OS is compatible with the Desktop Manager software. Just get the latest version of each at blackberry.com.

Thanks for all but to no avail.

I have the latest version of os on bb but the PocketMac is only one version so I think I have to wait for the upgrade in this software.

Go to options>advanced options>applications. Highlight the app, hit the menu button and choose delete.

the only problem i have had with pocketmac is that it really overheats my MBP and doesn't like to uninstall apps when using teh 8830 and 8300 and as far as i know there is only 1 version of pocketmac but you might want to try the missing sync for blackberry if you need a link for it i will try and dig it up i haven't used it yet but i have used the one for palm OS and it works really well
