Default OS vs Desktop Manager

I upgraded my Desktop Manager from 4.1 to 4.2 - but cannot get the BB to upgrade. I see posts referring to making sure my OS is upgraded - and to download the latest OS - Can't find where I can download this. Am using 8703e from Verizon.

Any ideas!

Many Thanks! Only took about 3 hours to download and install - BUT - everything is working and at first glance 4.2 is GREAT!

Default os 4.5 on 8703e

Want to upgrade to os 4.5. I hope it wont mess up my phone as its a CDMA and has my service provider's icons and all in them. They havent upgraded their servers for the new OS as yet. What will happen if i try and upgrade?
