try Options - MMS - check the boxes to reject anonymous and advertisement messages.

i remember getting spam but i can't remember if this stopped it or not. i don't get spam anymore.

otherwise, don't give out your blackberry email address to spam sites.

i think when i first got my curve, i got plenty of spam messages...it was like they knew i had a new phone or something. but they weren't emails...they were texts, which could be considered emails with the right address. could have been the previous owner of my phone number, who knows.

I have the same problem.
Spend most of my time deleting useless emails.
There has to be a way to stop this.
I will try 1sl02's advise.
Any other suggestions or best solution is to change address?

T-Mobile subscribers can set up filters on T-Mobile.com. Once logged in on the bottom left side of the page click on setup blackberry internet email, then click on filters on the right side of the page. It can get to be a bit tedious to constantly create filters but unfortunatly is the best option we have for spam email.

Filters and stuff like that WILL work. but as stated it's a pain in the butt to keep up with, may wish to look into Aintair Spam Filter as well..with a free trial, at least you can see if it will work better for you...grab it from the Eveek Store [Only registered and activated users can see links.
