Default Diagnostic-test for 8700?

When trying to activate my first blackberry (an old Vodaphone -unlocked 8700), my operator is now asking to run the diagnotic-test'. But there is no such application on the BB and I cannot find any reference for it on the internet or the manual. I now have 'Data connection Refused' on the display. I was told that after I run this diagnostic-test, the 8700 should load the various settings by automatically and this message will dissapear. Anybody has a solution or any suggestions?

Thanks! Tried that, but somehow there was no more option for 'diagnostics' :-( . I finally decided to download the lastest DM (4.7) and completey reinstalled the whole BlackBerry. All errors dissapeared and the BB8700 now works just fine!
