iPhone theme not the same - eVeek

hi I just downloaded the theme iPhone from this forum but after installing the background appears to be from the Zen theme. Any ideas what went wrong?

Hmm that's interesting. You download the theme that was mode for 87/88 right? And when you say zen you mean 8100 zen?

This almost never happens lol but it shouldn be that big of a deal if its just a backg.

Honestly thou I don't see how this happened, if that really bothers you maybe try a battery pull or reinstall the theme.

Can you maybe just change the backg to the phone iphone theme uses?

There really aint much we can do cause things like that happen sometimes cause the theme was originally made for 8700.

I have the same issue with the Zen background, but I just changed it to pure black. There is probably an easier way of doing this, but I just took a picture of a black background, emailed it to myself, saved it to my device and then set it as my Home Screen Image. With the pure black background I think it looks more like the actual iphone. Just my personal preference and not a knock against the designer. Absolutely love the icons.

The only other suggestion I would have on this theme is to reduce the amount of real estate the time/date/battery/signal takes up. On my 8800 it is about 1/3 of the screen, leaving only 2 rows of 5 icons. Having said that though, I guess we have to be careful not to make it look *exactly* like the iphone. ;-)
