Default 8830 BB Messenger

Hey everyone,

First time posting and loving the site!

I have the 8830 from Verizon and my BB messenger is acting up. I searched the site and couldn't find anything. Sometimes I would get a message but in won't show up when I bring up the conversation. When I go to the message screen with all my emails I see a portion of the message but when bringing up the conversation it will not appear.

I'm currently using the OS that came with the phone and thinking of switching to the 4.5 OS.

Any suggestions?

Thank you,

Kidkamel

Try going to the BB site and redownloading and installing the BB Messenger.

I removed it and added it back on through Desktop Manager yesterday and no improvements. The issue occured today. Next time it happens I'll try to take a picture of it.

Try re-loading your OS. Might be a CORE problem. Shot in the dark, but worth a try.

Also forgot to add, sometimes the conversations will end and close on their own. Any ideas why that would happened?

An update would probably fix the problem.

Is the update to 4.5 for the 8830 stable? Any issues or concerns?

I haven't heard of any unstable released. The earlier ones after .18 were really bad, but now they seem to be working a lot better.
