Default MSN Messenger Alternative?

So I just upgraded my plan too Bells Unlimited 30 data plan and I find out apperently that MSN/Live Messenger magically doesn't work with the unlimited plans for some reaon(tech support told me that alltho a number of people at work have the same plan and use msn all day long). So my question is, is there an alternative I can put on my phone that will let me connect to the messenger service. Like Trillian or aMSN?

I don't know why. I keep getting this Connection Error(65) dealy. I've spent a few hours scouring google for fixes but anything I've found either hasn't worked or it's been people saying it just doesn't work with their unlimited data plans. Also I don't have 30 gigs of data I have unlimited data for $30/mo. I might try calling them again later see if I can get a different agent or something. But I figured I would see if anyone with their vast knowledge of BlackBerrys might know of a workaround or alternative that would work.
