newbie needs help

I just bought bold,and I'm wondering why
I can't receive any files from bluetooth even I have
Paired with the other device...

Because you need to accept the transfer first.

Example:
If you want to transfer music, before your buddy sends you a file, you must go to media>music>menu>receive using bluetooth. That tells your phone, you are expecting a bluetooth transmission and will allow another person to connect to you for a file transfer.
