Just got my new bold....Last week....i absolutely love it! First i thought it was a bit big since i was used to the pearl but now i would trade it in for anything. Enjoy.

Hello everyone,

I have this Bold for a while now (say 2 weeks?), and I do have to say that it is an awesome phone. However I also have a few issues. I had a 205 error a few times now, don't know why. After a hard reset (pull out battery and shift alt del) I finally managed to get the OS running normal again. Since yesterday I couldn't sync with my desktop manager anymore. I have version 4.6, but the pc doesn't recognize the Bold. I do get to see my media card 8gb. Desktop manager says: disconnected. I am able to start the application loader but i have to enter my pin for that. That works fine, but sync with out look is grey. Does anyone else have this problem? I tried to turn off my bold and restart, same results. I cannot backup / restore either.
Another thing, since yesterday i wasn't able to send sms to others. Status: _pending. Anyone know how to solve that? Do i have to change my settings? I didn't change anything though, i was able to sent sms last friday...
Maybe it is already known for the other bold users, but the lifetime of the battery is kinda short. Max 2 days, 1 day if you use lots of options such as wi-fi and games.

btw, poker game is fun.

lol i solved the sync and sms problem. just a matter of patience and reboot the phone properly. Pull out battery for 1 min. solves everything

I have had the blackberry pearl curve and 8800
And the Bold is by far the best.

I've had the BB Curve and then the 8830....left vzw and went to ma bell. I am impressed with the Bold...just waiting to get my " L " theme for one of very nice theme makers. Not impressed with built in themes but the larger screen makes web browsing better.
