The Bold is definitely one of RIM's best effort of a smartphone to date. Although I find it's screen smaller than usual BB phones.

I have my hands on one of these and I'm pretty sure the screen is larger then (most) BlackBerrys to date. The Storm obviously beats it.

And AT&T is releasing it Nov 1 in the USA

The Bold looks nice but I really want the Storm or @ least the Javelin.

I have to go with censai. I never really liked the big 8800 series, which I guess the bold is replacing. I LOVE the size of my curve, though! I also want a touch screen. Hopefully tho by the time my 2 year contract is almost up they will be really talking about the blackberry with a slide out keyboard.

the Bold is great.
i picked mine up last week, as they've now been discounted pretty heavily in Canada - got it for $299 on a 3yr plan (when they were released, they were $499 on the plan, and $649 to buy outright).

going to the Bold from the Curve, it's taken a little bit of getting used to, but i love it. the keyboard is great!

i was hoping to wait until the Javelin got released, but having it only be 2.5G, the Bold is the way to go until the 3G Javelin comes out.
