Question My bold won't sync

My company use exchange, but the outsource company we are getting it from doesn't support blackberry.

I have exchange set up in outlook and decided to use the blackberry redirector to get my email on my blackberry. Here's the problem, I set the desktop manager up to sync everything both ways for everything even messages. Everytime I hook up my blackberry to sync; once it gets to the part when it's reading the address book in outlook if gives me an error message stating "unable to read application data" right when it gets to 126 out of 127.

I tried adjusting settings in the desktop manager and outlook but no difference. Has anyone every run in to this issue, heard about it, or maybe even have any idea what's going on?

Try clearing the address book function thorugh Backup and Restore/Advanced and retrying. This should removed the corrupt databse and allowed it to synch without errors. also theres some other info contained in this thread:

I did that and got it to sync so I know somethings up with my address book. I wiped everything in outlook and tried to get it to sync but it failed. I used a blackberry curve I have in the office and got it work both ways wiping and syncing.

Going to wipe my bold's address book and try again because when I tell the manager to sync from outlook to device and wipe target it fails also.

Thanks for the comment on the avatar, I have tons lol.

I followed one of the guides from the link you sent me, the address book on my BOLD was corrupted so I wiped using the backup and restore option in the desktop manager. Everything re-synced with no errors.
