1.- try a battery pull. That should fix it
2.- it's the only way to upgrade the OS
3.- you'll have to download your actual OS from your carrier's web site and store it in a safe place. But in any case, the most important thing it's to make a back up of your info before doing anything via DM (it's a friendly recomendation at the begining of the instructions)

Good Luck!!

Another thing on point 3

Make sure to follow this instructions from Llamalord if it comes to that: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

The reffered version on this thread doesn't support Arabic language...or so it seems by the test that i've just performed.

I've installed the upgrad pack on the PC, connected the BB and opened DM. Selected the advanced options for what i can update, delete or install. There's a lot of eastern asian languages (indonesian, Korean, Chinese, Japonese and others)...but no Arabic

Sorry man.

If any other Eveeker have any links to an OS4.6 for the bold with Arabic language included, please post and help our brother!!

A couple of questions. If I download an upgrade from my Bold 9000 will it delete any of my information? Also is version 4.6.0.297 any good because when I check for upgrades from my phone that is the version that comes up...?

As long as you select backup during the install, all your info will go back onto your phone during the loading stage.

Your DM sees .297 for your phone as it's getting the information from the vendor code hard coded into your phone. .301 is the latest for your phone. Just remember to delete the vendor.xml file before you install. Best to use the loader.exe app instead of the BDM.
