Default No icon to set up personal email

I had to wipe my phone because it was deleting my SMS texts before I could even read them. Now I'm trying to get everything set back up but I have no way of adding my yahoo email. I have show all icons checked also. Please help

You actually didn't have to wipe your device. Either you had a memory leak, which is caused by having too many SMS, MMS and/or emails on your device. So it naturally will start deleting them to make more room for incoming messages. Or, you need to upgrade your OS to 4.5.

To get that Email Settings Icon back, try re sending your service books by registering your device.

Ok I have a few questions. If I had too many texts why wouldn't it just delete old msgs rather than new? Also, can you tell me how to register my device and how to upgrade the OS? Thanks

That I can't answer regarding text messages. As far as registering your device. Go to options>advanced options>host routing table. Then hit menu, register now. Easy enough.

As far as upgrading your OS. Follow this link.
