I'm a new 8310 owner running vista home premium (32bit) and the desktop manager software will not install correctly - it's like the PC won't allow the software to register the dll's onto registry at the end of the install. So then when installation is finished you run the software, it starts up then shuts itself down.
I'm running V403_b-025 of the desktop manager software. Any ideas?

4.3 installing now - with errors:

GW.dll failed to register
GWapi.dll failed to register
DesktopSetup_pb.dll failed to register
IS71 Action Engine\SyncAE_pb.dll failed to register

This is the full 4.3 version, 365 odd mb off a shockingly slow site peaking at 37kb and it's still not loading and installing correctly - not a blackberry fault but still bugging the hell out of me.

Hmm, not sure I follow all that since I have trouble reading Chinese characters. Thanks for the helpful advice though.
