I followed your upgrade instructions, however I was not prompted by Desktop Manager to upgrade. I tried the "Update Software" option under the "Application Loader" tab, and it says "No software update is required for your device." Does this mean my BlackBerry is already up-to-date?

Either that, you installed the wrong OS for your phone or you forgot to delete the vendor.xml file.

If you look in the tutorial section, there is a topic posted there on what to do.

Since I have ATT, I should not have to delete the vender.xml, is that correct?

If you ave the OS from your carrier, then no you don't have to, but if you did, doesn't matter.

I'm currently using OS 4.5.0.102 on an ATT 8310, unlocked, and it works very well.
I'm now reluctant to upgrade to ATT's new OS 4.5.0.110. I am not confident about ATT and suspect unwanted interference with all the applications which I now enjoy, no thanks to ATT.
I do not want to have problems with my GPS, Email, themes, etc. What's the upside/downside to the new upgrade ?
Can anyone give feedback on the new 4.5.0.110 OS on ATT 8310 compared to 4.5.0.102 OS ?
Thanks
