I just got os 4.5 for my curve and it really does seem like the 4.2 os did have louder sound broadcast. Idk what it is but my phone just isn't as loud anymore.

I upgraded the OS to 4.5 with 110 and it all seemed to go well except for the lower than expected volume and an application that is listed in the phone but cannot be found anywhere. I simply reloaded the application and everything is fine now. Any word on the volume? Is it a real problem or just us getting old

Massive Kudos on the site EVEEK! Muah! Bravo! I have a BB Curve 8310 that started w/ a 4.2 OS.¤Tears¤ since my computer @ home is crashed- hadn't even connected it to the comp... No updates= app/web function... After much waiting and trouble shooting I finally thru EVEEK guidance have the 4.5 OS «YAY» but I can't find out how to access some of my previously functioning apps... Thinking they're not there- I try to download again. But then I'm prompted w/ "app. already exists" so do I dwnld again? Or how can I find them? And can I get a patch to support AJAX?

I recently updated my 8310 (AT&T) to the 4.5.110 OS. Post-update I cannot keep a call for more than 30 seconds. The phone apparently loses signal and disconnects. I get messages/e-mail/etc. fine and calls come through, but whether I'm making the call or getting it I can't keep it for more than 30-90 seconds. I know this is due to the upgrade, because it started as soon as I did the upgrade. I live in downtown Miami, so it's not as if I'm out in the boonys. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

I would imagine since u have ur update os on ur phone, u have th os on the PC or Mac too. While ur phone is plugged in to ur comp, I would try searching for 4.5 patches... Mine didn't do that... But it took a long time to set up. Now that it is I'm real happy w/ it. Good luck! (BTW- I'm not certified to give advice r anything... That's just what I would try.)

After I uploaded this new OS on my 8310 (AT&T), I have absolutely no space. But I can't figure out what is taking up all the space considering I have all the same stuff I had before. Can someone tell me? Was this new OS supposed to give extra space like it did to the pearl or no?
