I'll look into this when I get home from work this evening and update the main post.

New to the forums but I thought i'd share my pain from the past 2 hours. I tried to update my 8310 to 4.5. I saw some people had success loading it through the latest version of Desktop Manager so I decide to go that route. All was going well when the process stopped with the error 561 flashing on the bb. I spent about an hour frantically searching this group as well as others looking for a solution and none seemed to work. I finally decided to try a different upgrade approach so i went to RIMs website and launched the update from there. This time the process picked up right where it left off and completed successfully. My bb is working fine now with video and all the new goodies in 4.5.

I hope if someone else is struggling with this problem they find that this works for them as well.
