Default Os 5

Okay..I tried the 5.0.0.100 and it let me surf the net on Wifi, however, Yahoo messenger and Gtalk wouldn't work while MSN messenger works fine on it.

From what I noticed in the short while I used it for was the media folders had improved(it gave you the count of files inside the folders), google gears was added but still login failure for Yahoo and MSN messenger. It didn't make sense to me keeping the new OS since i have a plan that allows unlimited mails and Yahoo/MSN and Gtalk chats.

P.S. The Jav has a latest official OS available for download on their site. It's the 4.6.1_rel 307_Platform 4.2.0.102. I am downloading that at the moment.

Smile Latest Official OS for the Jav

By the type you posted that question, I have moved up to 8900M_PBr4[1].6.1_rel378_PL4.2.0.113_A4.6.1.250.

It's available at the official blackberry site (Select Carrier: Rogers & Region: North America) to download. Delete the vendor.xml file and will load on any carrier in any country.

Well nothing major has changed just that it increases your battery life from 1 day to THREE DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!! so get it NOW!

UPDATE ::::

By the time you posted that question, I have moved up to 8900M_PBr4[1].6.1_rel378_PL4.2.0.113_A4.6.1.250.

It's available at the official blackberry site (Select Carrier: Rogers & Region: North America) to download. Delete the vendor.xml file and will load on any carrier in any country. Also when you'll install you'll need the latest desktop manager and the software updater (I am using BB Desktop manager version 5) since the old ones don't detect the latest versions at times.

If your carrier hasn't lauched it yet, you can't update it via OTA.

Well nothing major has changed just that it increases your battery life from 1 day to THREE DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!! so get it NOW under average usage!
