Exclamation Maximum size Micro SD for Curve/Javelin 8900

hey guys . . new to the whole blackberry thing and just want to know what is the maximum size micro sd card the 8900 can hold?

I am using Msd card 8GB. I have no any proplem. I think that 8900 can use maximum 16GB Msd card.

i was told by a t-mobile rep that the 8900 bberry can hold up to 32 g of micro sd, thats like 2 itouches :P

hey guys also new a new owner of a curve 8900. can you just buy any mSD off the counter and use it? does it need to have an application or installer?

I think you can. I believe it's hot swap or something like that... And if you have it updated you can use up to 32gb cards. Of that i'm sure

I was informed that the maximum size is 32 depended on the os software.

You can just about get any size you want dependant on the software your running, 32 is the max. But everthing under that should be fine.

No installer is needed just format the card first under settings ,memory, menu and format the card and you'll be ready to go.
