How To Update a BB - eVeek

Hey guys quick Question..i have a javelin from T-mobile and i wanted to know when O.S 5.0 comes out will a screen prompt me like an O.T.A popup to upgrade or will i have to go to adavanced options and wireless upgrade? ps. does t-mobile block these updates will i have to manually update? Thanks for the help in advance!

No OS upgrade can be done by OTA. You will have to upgrade via PC. And Idk if they do notifications, your best bet is to stick around here to find out.

If OS updates can't be done by OTA, why does it say Wireless Upgrade?

is it true that if there is a power cut & ur updating ur o s that is the end of ur bb?

kuttus.... no you can always safe a BB... it can be tricky but you can do it...

as for the OP... yes you can OTA upgrade if your carrier supports it... otherwise you will have to use the PC and download the OS to your computer and install the OS that way to your BB
