BBTran is still free it its basic form and gives you easy to use online translation for phrases, words, and dictionary lookups. It now supports 40+ languages including Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, & more.
I think the coolest feature in this latest version is a new menu item they added to all of your email, PIN, & SMS that lets you translate them at the click of a button. Keep in mind this is a machine translation that uses Google Translate, Systran, FreeTranslation, & Reference.com so its not perfect. On the other hand by offering all 4 they do give you alternative translations.
The caveat is that there are some limits to the free version of BBTran. The main one is that you can only perform 50 translations a day after which you will have to pay $15 a month for 500 translations a day limit. That should not be a big deal for most casual users.
