browser configuration service book entry

hi , im new. ive got a vodafone pearl 8100 that ive unlocked and using a O2 UK sim card in it. so far im well chuffed..



however im trying to setup the browser ( and then email... but browser first)


however i cant find how to set it up... the message it keeps giving me is


'your device does not currently have a browser configuration service book entries'

'please contact your service provider to enable the browser on your device'



-i ask whats this mean then? and how do i get around it? if only i could get to a setup page id manually config it but i cant even do that.


any help would be much appreciated.

Do you have a Data Plan? If so go to options/advanced options/host routing table.

Select the key to the left of the Pearl and select register now. That will re-send all your sevice books to you phone.

i have the same problem, i got a blackberry tour on verizon and am an AT&T user, i dont have the browser configuration. i took it to att store they told me they cant and verizon told me the same thing.
