ok, that may be your problem. 4.7 is kinda buggy try the 4.5 and see if it works .

I quit... i cannot upate my dumbphone.. it keeps tellin me that i have the latest software version, but i only have 4.2. I dont know what to do

im sorry that it didnt work for you. i just updated my 8100 (again) using this method.if you feel up to it pm me and i`ll try to walk you through it.

Don't use DM 4.7 to update your phone's OS. Use DM 4.6.

Any DM lower than 4.7 will work just fine. With 4.7 you can do the upgrades, but you have to do it the long way around.

Hi, I Bought a 8100 in the states T mobile but i live in Venezuela it has 4.2 V the thing is if i upgrate the os.. Do i need to unlockit? or something?
