Default music files

I had a Samsung Eternity from which I bought about 20 songs from Napster thru at&t. I've the Storm now but it doesn't read the songs on the card I had on the Eternity. Supposedly, the songs are encrypted for the Eternity but my Gf's Envy read them just fine. Help!

The songs are in MP3 format. I've some songs from Limewire on there which the BB reads just fine.

Did you take the memory card out of the Eternity and put it into the Strom to get the songs or did you put transfer the songs using the computer or bluetooth?

It's the same card I had in the Eternity. I can't Bluetooth from the Eternity cuz its broken. I think Lg makes the envy. She was able to copy the songs to her Envy but they won't Bluetooth to either of our Storms.

I don't have a working computer so its hard to get music donloads that don't cost you an arm. The Vcast deal available for Verizon is 15 bux n you don't get to keep the songs. You're really just renting them for 15 bux a month. When I got us the Storms the guy said we could download from limewire using the phone. That didn't work either. I'm thinking we're just gonna have to pay up for more music which is just sad.

Do you have the unlimited data plan for your phone? I have an idea. I have never tried this on the phone before. Don't know if music files are to big to transfer and download over the phone. I will have no problem getting the songs you want for free. You will need to have an e-mail account. If you don't have one you can create a blackberry account on your phone under setup file. I can get the songs and see if I can e-mail them to you. Actually, Does your gf's Envy have e-mail? You can try having her e-mail them to you. See if that works. Or you can try to see if her phone can unencryt the media card in an options or memory settings. Or I can upload the files on a share file site where you can download them. These are just some ideas that came to mind

The problem is probably just a matter of the memory card not being formatted for the new phone. When i switched my card out od my Samsung Blast to my Blackberry Curve, i had the same issue. I just copied all of the files to a computer then formatted the memory card. After that i copied the files back to the card and slapped it in my Berry and I was good to go.

That may work. I've the data plan. Send me a song, anyone. I'm at invinoveritas08@vzw.blackberry.net. Supposedly I can access attachments. We'll see.
