That sucks man. Just come to the US and buy the phone. Ok so it's a little far fetched. You'll have to but it from an online retailer who ships foreign. Yeah I know I stated the obious. Sorry bro.

I apologize for the continuous updates...

In addition to that, the website is back up and running. You can add your email address to get the most up-to-date information directly from Verizon, as soon as they become available...

You all are welcome.
As for it being unlocked and used for another service, it does seem doable but there are some factors to consider.

BlackBerry nor T-mobile will support any problems you may run into. Any updates BlackBerry will come out with will probably brick your phone. I'm not saying definitely but there is a high probability.

This happens every single time a new hi-tech gadget gest launched. As you suggested, it may be the time to travel to the US and get the thing!!...but...i'm still gonna give my "bold" a shot and wait because even if i can unlock the storm for usagge in my countr...i'm quite sure that not a single one it's gonna have the right support...so it's "patience" for me...

Oh...one more thing...what's the retail price?...is it on the air yet?...and as Mr. B said...keep the updates coming...they are much appreciated

As soon as I hear anything new I promise I'll keep you guys updated.

As for the price my bets are on 299.99 with a 2 year contract and 399.99 for just the phone. Again that's just speculation.

One last update before I go on vacation...

Apparently Verizon will have a team meeting every Wednesday to inform their employees about new information related to the Storm..

US$400??...i'm there!!!. I can apply for one in Miami.

Since Tek9Samurai is on vacation...can anyone tell me what's the price for a Bold 9000 (just the phone) at this time in the states?. Thanks a lot!

I just saw one on e-bay that cost more than what cost me here in Chile 2 months ago...and that says a lot because in this f... country, this kind of technology cost more than a lap dance performed by a PlayBoy Bunny!!!

Just like to compare prices

Thank again people!
