I've had my Storm for over 6 months now and I must say that I LOVE it! There is a bit of a learning curve because you do have to press unto the screen but once you're used it you should be fine. However, before the OS update I began to hate it because it would freeze or lag up all that time (I'm sure that's what most people are complaining about), but the update took care of all those issues for me... so its a YES in my book.

OH MY WORD I HATE IT.... But have grown to love it!!

Latest Operating Systems have made the system so much faster... although as the storm goes...
The screens centred Frustratingly makes typing slower!! even with the trick of the piece of cardboard behind it!! lol

Also as blackberry's stand APPS seem to be kept to a minimal with the Storm its hard to find Decent QUALITY APPS built for the storm...

the STORM 2 is a HUGE improvement

It's really a love hate relationship...lol
I started out with the 8830 World Edition which froze up a lot, but the tiny screen and keyboard were very workable.
I now have the Storm 9530, the size of the touch screen and wider keyboard are awesome! However, It does freeze up after a couple of days and the software is about 5% of an iPhone.

Overall I'm stuck with it so I've learned to like it

I'm going to disagree with most of the people here. Definetely a YES. With the new update the auto correct works great and it is just overall more responsive. Plus battery life lasts way longer

Its a definite NO for me Verizon has a 30 day guarantee, thank GOD had mine less than a week and took it back and got the Tour instead, way better phone much easier to use. Miss all my themes though but I suppose they will come in time.
