Default Leaked versions?

Anybody running the leaked OS .109?? I'm currently runing OS .90 and as of late noticed ALOT of drama with it. So I'm going to try .109 as what Ive read on alot of forums seems to be good.

All I have heard/read about Official releases is that they dont know when one will be released. Anyone here hear any different?

Verizon has been really crappy to say the least about this. We ALL should start writing letters and complaining BIG TIME!

All carriers are crappy. They just provide service and phones. They don't know what needs to be fixed about it. Sorry.

Yeah, this is true. It's just really aggrivating.

I did install OS .109 and I have to say it's really awesome! I've been running it for 3 days now and I have had NO problems. No freezing, rebooting, hesitation, none of it! My storm is running great! Battery life is good. I think they should release this one. I havnt noticed any glitches in it yet. But I will post if I do.

Well that's good, glad you took the step to uprade your BB. Let us know of any features that you have found on this OS and keep an eye out for the official release of this OS as it may come with new features or apps. Thanks!

just to let everyone know, got my storm 2 weeks ago and I was having freezing, etc, etc with my first storm, took it back got another NEW one with an OS of .109 and now a week later absolutely NO PROBLEMS. Seems the .109 OS did the trick, and so far so good. This OS was installed at factory so they must have obviously started shipping with updated versions. Hope this helps somone.

Is there any real differences between the OS, other than the problems it fixed? New features or apps?

not that I can tell, still trying different things so I guess the major thing is none of the previous problems are happening and I can get on with learning and enjoying it which is a good thing.

Yeah that's always good, guess I'm just trying to figure out if I'm wanting to change over to the storm if my carrier gets it. Just trying to see what all the perks are other than the touch. Thanks though...

No new apps or anything. The application center icon changed but the rest of the fixes are in the actual running of the storm. its faster smoother less jerky so to speak. I have only had one issue so far. Today it was taking a little while to change from the homescreen went i clicked to go into messages. The lil clock thing appeared and it took about 30 to 45 seconds to open the SMS screen. But I pulled the battery and it works great again. I hadnt done a battery pull or turned it on or off since I updated it to the .109 version. So thats been quite a few days. Im not complaining I was pulling the battery when i had v.90 at least 3 to 4 times a day!

All in all I think its a much more stable, better running OS. Best yet.

I think they are finally getting there! Too em long enough...
