Sorry, but this doesn't do anything. I am running on the 148 software. Am I doing anything wrong?

I have noticed that you actually have to hit the following sequence of keys for you to see the log:

/ " / " /

then hit the menu button and select Clear Log and select delete.

Try that.

1. From the home screen click the blackberry button (menu button) and choose show keyboard (turn sideways for qwerty)
2. Then hold the numbers button for a second to change characters to #s
3. Click " then / then " then / This will show a string of events
4. Click the blackberry button (menu button) and then select clear log then delete

I hope this helps all you storm users out there.

Good Luck!
or use BBSAK or CRACKUTIL and it does it great too

I'd say do both.. Clearing the log does wonders but the quick pull will make everything fresh again

There are two free apps out there for this:

Logmaid is an auto cleaner and Show Event Log is an icon that directly accesses the log. I've got both of them and they work fine without any causing any other issues.

I would post the links but since this is my first post, the forum rules prevent me from doing so...sorry.

Logmaid can be found at MobiHand and Show Event Log can be found at s4bb.
