You can also use Memory Cleaner..
It's already on the phone, to access it go to
Options, Security Options, Memory Cleaning, change the status to Enabled!
Now look in Applications folder..

I have had that activated since I purchased my Storm, but I have not noticed it clearing the event log.

Sorry I should have mentioned.. This will only help speed up the Storm, It along with clearing the log works like a charm!

When you say home screen, do you mean icons? Cause, when I follow the steps to Clear log. That option doesn't appear in box. Thanks for your feedback on this matter.
