Post Latest JDE!

Get the latest and greatest JDE from BlackBerry here! They've got the official 4.6 and even a 4.7 beta

Can you explain to me what JDE is used for? Isn't it used in developing themes?

Enlighten me please.. Do I need to install only the latest JDE or each JDE version serves their own platform? If each JDE version are independent can I install several JDE versions without any conflict? Thanks in advance..

why would u want to intall multiple JDEs ? usually when a later one comes out its because it has all the same things of the older ones + more. That is why you usually see JDEs getting bigger (as far as the memory taken). I am not sure if they would conflict because I always uninstall the previous JDE before updating.

Thanks for the reply psyco joe.. So the conclusion is that I only need to install the latest JDE.. Then I only need to install JDE v5.0 Beta 4 from here: na.blackberry.com/eng/developers/devbetasoftware/javasdk5.jsp#tab_tab_development Thanks again..
