That didn't work either. I am at a loss. Now updates show up. This is so frustrating.

i have an 8310 i used the dload for the 8310 and when i open the desktop manager the only update it finds is version 4.2 core applications.

nevermind i got it to work. you must delete the vendor xml file from the download before it will work. Go to My Computer > Local Disc (C > Program Files > Common Files > Research In Motion > Apploader > and delete the file VENDOR XML

Man. I downloaded the thing. Installed it. Plugged my phone in, and it wiped my phone, now it won't connect to my computer. Whenever I sync with it, it puts up some communication port wizard, and won't connect on any of them.
