4.5 OS and Gmail

So I updated my os on my 8820 last night, everything is working great except my gmail app.

When I log in to the Gmail app and it goes to check my mail, it successfully retrieves the email but then I get this error message "Error: An unexpected error occurred during program execution. Please try your Operation again"

After I exit the app i get this error message "Uncaught exception:java.lang.Nullpointer Exception"

Can any one help?

It all started after I installed OS 4.5

Yea, the whole OS upgrade thing really messes with some of the older programs...I'd say reinstall it and see if that helps but it might be a little while until that issue gets sorted...

i was doing some researching and i think installing 'docstogo' helps. I will try it when i get home and see if the problem goes away.

If it doesn't help can I go back to my old OS?

Yes you can always downgrade

i installed 'docstogo' which is listed in the app menu in DM
