Exclamation Hi! New to eVeek, have Storm 9530 OS 5.0

Good morning everyone, I am new to this forum. I have had my Storm 9530 for about 4 months and am still learning about it. I am very computer savvy but the BB is a whole new world for me.

I upgraded to the official Verizon OS 5.0 and none of my themes work in landscape position. I have read numerous tips on how to fix this temporarily but all of them involve NOT using the wallpaper that comes with the theme, which is generally why I bought the theme to begin with.

Are there any themes here that have been tested on the final release of 5.0 and work? I am a theme junkie. Thanks in advance for any assistance you may give me.

There is nothing you can do. It's a RIM issue that they are aware of and will be fixed in a future OS release.

Thank you for your straightforward answer. I have tried many "fixes" that did not work. I do think the smartest thing to do is wait until RIM comes out with a fix for the problem. In the meantime, I will try to find themes to use that will work, under the current circumstances.

You could make your own themes. Just change the graphics that you want for the various screens. Very easy to do.

Are there instructions somewhere? I wouldn't know where to begin but it sounds like fun!
