Posting Guidelines

Alright guys, for starters we need to lay down some ground rules!

Read this before you post!!!

All these "rules" are here to ensure the proper operation of the forum! Abiding by these rules will ensure that your post will get replyed to! So stick to the rules and enjoy your time with us! arty:




General Rules:

• Use search tool before posting a new topic Chances are your question has already been answered! So if you really do not find anything with search, then post your question.
• Post only one time with the same subject in the appropriate forum and not several times in various forums by thinking that it will be answered quicker, because that just makes everything messy..
• When you have a problem, try to give the maximum information so that one can solve it as soon as possible.
• Do not use curse words in your posts!
• The sharing of files with copyrights are of course not ok, like any message in connection with their obtaining.

• While posting in the BlackBerry Device Discussion: DO explain the problem, clearly in the topic title and give a solid description in the description field.
• Abbreviations are fine but can cause miscommunication at times. Write those in detail so that you can get the best solution to your problem.
• When you have a request, find the correct topic and post in there, do not post wherever you can.


Titles:

• Use an explicit title! Subjects having title as "help me" or "Great!!!" are not very useful. Expose your question clearly. Also avoid descriptions in all capital letters! It just looks weird


Messages:

• In all the cases try to be polite and courteous, you are in a public place. Do not use vulgar language. Messages or posts with rude words will be removed.
• Do not use too large images in dimensions, because everyone does not have a ADSL/cable internet connection and a high resolution. The posted images should not exceed 640 by480 pixels! If the image is larger, puts a thumbnail/miniature of the image (redirecting towards the larger image) or just leave a link


Avatar and Signatures:

• Any misuse in the avatar/ signature that shocks the other members of the forum, will be immediately removed.
• Your Avatar should not be more than 100x100 pixels and should not exceed 20Kb!
• Your signature should not be more than 320x80 pixels and should not exceed 40Kb. You can however, exceed the size by uploading the image to an image hosting site such as Photobucket, and simply copy and paste the IMG code. This will keep our site running quick! You can use a signature OR three userbars. If you use an image in your signature, DO NOT add too much text below (two lines) cuz that sux...

So how would I go about posting a new plazmic theme that I have created?

Hi guys! I'm new on eVeek and I have some questions about issues with my BB 8100. Is this the right place to post my questions? If so, I'll start with this one, my BB does not recognize plazmic themes. I used the dektop manager to upload the applications, then reset the BB and nothing is on the themes list from where I am supposed to activate the theme.
