So, you've just arrived, and feel lost in this jungle full of BlackBerry news, customization and media… Don't worry, I'll explain everything to you

The New Members Forum it's something like our pub, the place where we meet and talk about anything!

So, let me guide you through the other parts of our forum!

The eVeek.com forums are comprised of a few big sections:

1 – Main – Site Related:
Check out this area if you want the latest news on what’s going on at eVeek! You are a member, you belong to the eVeek community! Your opinion on the site is very important to us! Do not hesitate to post your comment in the forum [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] This is also the same section to use if you find a bug with our site.

2 – BlackBerry Device Discussions:
Sometimes your BlackBerry just doesn’t do what it’s told, and that can lead to unnecessary stress!

This is where you go to talk about it. Everyone starts out as a beginner, and we will all try to help you. Many questions have already been answered: use the search engine! Chances are your question has already been answered.

A specific title is helpful to understand what your subject deals with! Avoid using "Serious Problem" or "Help me quickly!" Using a title like "How to install a theme" is much more helpful. Then, write your message with the most useful elements for those who will try to help you: the phrase "does not work," does not help us diagnose the problem.

3 – BlackBerry Media Center:
Come here to chat, comment, and share your BlackBerry creations! Keep in mind that this is not the eVeek download gallery! You can find all of the eVeek downloads in the navigation bar at the top of the page

4 – BlackBerry Technical:
Here you will find reviews, tutorials, and advanced BlackBerry discussions. If you are a BlackBerry expert then this is the place for you! But regardless of your experience with BlackBerrys, this is the place to learn more about your awesome phone! Check out the [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] thread. Who knows…maybe you will even end up making your own BlackBerry programs…

5 - Community:
Want to express yourself? Share your Rants & Raves, or funny stories of your experiences with a carrier salesperson with everyone! We love jokes and learning life lessons

If you are still here reading this then I have to say you are really a merit for this community! I could buy you a drink in The Pub where you will be able to learn a few more things about the team (and there are so many things to learn...umm!!!) and members!

I am trying to download the 9000 theme but can't seem to see it. Is this theme compatible with the 8830? Thank you

If you installed it and the theme is not appearing on the options>themes list, then you need to pull out and reinsert the battery...that will restart the phone and make the theme show up on the phone

Very similar to a computer that always prompts you to restart the computer after installing something
