Step-by-Step Plazmic Install

Let's make it very short, clear and simple. If u want to create your own themes but not sure how to install the plazmic software or just having to much problems with it, follow these simple step-by-step instructions exactly as written and you will be building themes in no time

If you already tried installing plazmic 4.2.2, 4.2 or 4.1 go to Start>Control Panel>Add Remove Programs and remove everything that's related to the appplication!!! Including "plazmic 4.2.2", "4.2" or "4.1", "blackberry email mdc/mds", "jde", "jdk" and "jre" files.

Restart your computer and get back here.

Now you're ready to install plazmic. Download, unzip, and install each application one by one in the order as shown below.

So... No vista support for the Plazmic kit? I made it through all install steps and it failed there. Anyone else having any luck with vista?

Vista? Ok I know a friend of mine Steven has written a thread for Vista users with all the different appls. that need to be installed. I'll talk with him and I'll try to post his thread on here.

I'm very new to this whole theme builder arena. I know a lot about the phone/service side of the blackberry, but not the programs. How much Mac stuff is out there and where can I find it.

I highly doubt it, if there was I'd probably already hear about it. Plazmic is a pretty new appl for the 8100 so maybe in the near future.

hey peter followed all instructions but on the desktop install keep gettin "no additional applications designed for your device found" and then wont download. what does this mean and how do i fix this?

thats if u try installing an appl right?

u might have to move it to a diff folder or rename it. Happened to me before and I always found a way to fix it, just never really tried to remember cause its always diff lol
