Theme Install Help

i cant download anything to mi blackberry because it keeps telling me that can't find any additional applications to install .. i dont know what to do please help me

Make sure the themes you're downloading are for your model.
Also be sure that the OS of the theme is compatible for your bb's OS.
On your bb, go to: option/about to see what OS your bb is using and try only downloading themes with the same OS.
If you are downloading via the desktop manager, make sure you are using the .alx file (not .cod or .jad)

I just added the data plan to my service and so far I have had no luck what so ever downloading a theme.

I've been trying to download this theme [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] it will download fine and says installed sucessfully. I have taken the battery out and left out for up to a min. and still it will not show up in my themes. It always installs to my applications. What am I doing wrong? Will this not work on my bb 8100? I have not been able to download ota at all so far.

Here's some info that may help:
I do have a data plan from T-mobile
BB 8100
OS 4.2.1.107

Once you download the zip file, select "open"
you should see a couple files in there. A '.cod' and an '.alx' file
Highlight both and if you are using windows there should be an option on the left tool bar saying "exctract". You want to extract those 2 files to a folder that you have created to store your themes.

Then go to your desktop manager / application loader / ADD .... and go to the folder you extracted the files to. Select the .alx file and away you go.

You'll need winrar, google it. once its installed on your pc you can right click and unrar/unzip a compressed file.
