For jad files you have to use media manager. Copy the jad file to your my pic folder on you handheld, then use your handheld to install the jad file. This works for jad file games also.

This had happened to me as well. Here is what I did to finally get it to become activated: I did a master reset on my handheld, then I installed the new theme, then I did a battery pull. Once my battery pulled restart was done the theme was visible and able to be activated. Things to check before doing the above. Make sure you have downloaded the theme for your correct os version, phone. Make sure you do a complete backup of your phone via dm.

Good luck!

Okay i read the other posts it you have said the 8100 themes should work in 8130 phones, but when i go to add the application it says that no additonal applications were found. What does that mean?

Mine did that too, I deleted the theme using my phone but the theme was still in my application list of my desktop manager when I plugged my phone in. All I had to do was delete the theme from my list and then add it again.

Admin: Not a bb techie here but I've been reading this forum as of late and I've noticed that the same questions are being asked over and over and over and over. Might I recommend a sticky at the beginning of the forum posts that includes the information on Master resets, installing .jad and .jar files (since on my 8700 they cannot be installed using the app loader), reasons for the message (no additional applications were found), I'm sure there is at least one person for every model of BB that knows how to fix the most commonly asked questions that can contribute their solution. This seems like it would save probably 14 pages on each thread topic after what I've been reading lately.

Good advice cmyers1032! People should also use the search button, and Google beacuse 99% of the time someone else has run into the very same problem or issue and there is a solution just waiting to be found.

Can anyone tell me where I can find a free OTA downloader for the 8330 curve? Or even a free flash player...
