Check in the about section under options. It will tell you all you need about your installed software. Also if you install desktop manager 4.7 it has an update option that will check your versions (I believe).I haven't used that option yet so it may only check for updates of the dm. But if you look options|about it will tell you your os version.

What can i do?
First, if the themes are still showing up in the application list for your dest top manager then it won't find anything. If they are in the list but are not checked then it won't find any either. I have had that problem as well. I deleted the theme from my phone using my phone, then I deleted the theme from the desktop manager applicaton list. Then I just browsed to the theme again and reinstalled it. Then did a battery pull and it was now in my bb list. I have a 8700 and that worked for me. HTH

Ok...I downloaded a Theme which works fine, but can't choose the Applications i want on the Main Screen. Or move any of them. So i was wondering if there was a way to choose which Applications i can see and which ones are hidden.

This is the one i am trying to use.

That theme was exported using a version of Plazmic that does not allow the icons to be customized, so they're locked.

Oh... so can it be unlocked?
See the Blue toth and Wireless... those doesn't appear those spots are just blank... so i was wondering if there is a way to fill them. It lights up when i scroll over them as if something is there but there isn't anything there. So i am just wondering if there is a way to put something there.

Maybe that is locked too. But having two blank spots makes kinda makes the theme pointless.

Default Bes?

I am on a BES but I'm the sys admin so I can change the policy, do you know specifically what needs to be changed?

When you mention re-boot what does that mean? Did you pull the battery out and let the it set for 20 seconds and then re-start the phone?

The battery pull is a must do.

Are all the .cod files included? if so copy and paste (install) all .cod's and the .jad into your device memory using Desktop manager. Then on your BB click on the .jad to install the theme. This is also how you install themes that you got with the OTA downloader.

Heres some better instructions I found:

"If you want to put the download in the device memory, you will need to have the desktop manager installed. When your desktop manager is booted you can go to the “media manager” and browse to the device memory under “my devices” make sure that the system is set to allow all files to be imported in the device memory.

Once you have uploaded all COD and JAD files you can disconnect the blackberry from the computer.

Now open the media application on the blackberry, and press the left button next to the trackball to open the full menu. Here you will need to click “explore”. Now browse to the location where your OTA download is installed.
Once you’ve located the jad and cod files, select the JAD file (it should be only 1 file) and click “open”. Now you will see the details about this file on your blackberry such as name, version and vendor. Here you will need to select the “download” button on the bottom of the screen. Once the application is downloaded you will be able to install or use the application.

You are now ready to use your blackberry OTA installation…."
