Make sure that you downloaded the proper series theme for your BB. You have an 8100 so make sure that your download is in the 81xx series.

Frustrated!!
Hey Everyone,
I'm new here so I hope I'm posting this the right way. haha. Okay, I have a Blackberry Curve 3350i with Nextel. I found a theme, downloaded it, unzipped it, found it in my blackberry manager on my desktop and it said that I added it to my blackberry. I then shut the phone off, pull the battery out and turned it back on, but when I go to Options/themes I only have the 2 themes it came with. *boring* Then if I go to Options/Adavanced options I see the file there but there is no way for me to set it as my default. I've beeing trying to figure this out for2 days. Grr, If anyone could help I would be so Happy. Any Advice please!! Thanks everyone!

Well I want to ensure that you have downloaded a theme that was designed for your phone. In your case the 8350i is different from the 83xx series. So make sure that it is specifically designed for your phone. I believe that the PTB 4.7 has a simulator for your phone but no one has developed any themes for your model yet.

I thought I had downloaded the right theme for my model, but I geuss not.I checked some place else and they said that if you go into application and can see the theme name thre but its not in your theme option then that theme isnt for your model. So there are no themes for my model yet and I should just wait it out for now?
Oh and thankyou for responding its been driving me nuts!! Earlier today my text quit working and i had to contact nextel and have them refresh my phone.

Yeah just wait for now and see what happens. As far as your text stopped working, were you sending too many at one time? If that ever happens again try clearing your phone log (Hold alt and then press lglg, hit menu key and clear the log) and hten also do a master reset ( pull your battery for 30 seconds to a minute, then put back in and let the phone reboot itself) That will help in any event your phone is acting screwy. Just FYI.

hey, No I could send them out no problem and iI was only talking to one person, but whenever They replied I wouldnt get it unless I turned the phone off.I even pulled the battery for 30 seconds and put it back in.It would then start to ,but when I would have my hubby text me just to check if it was still working it wouldnt be working so I called them and they told me to pull the battery and they refreshed it for me. It's working okay right now, but lets see if it works by tomarrow. Thanks for the info too, you guys are great!!
