help with zip files

when i try to download zip fliles to my blackberry i get an error msg.
says something like not supported. Any ideas. something easy i'm sure.

Zip files are not meant to be downloaded to the bb. Zip files are for downloading to a pc.

If you want to download to the bb you need to use the .jad files. Those are meant for ota (over-the-air) downloading.

Unzip the file and you will end up with the files that you need! Use winzip or winrar which you can find at rarlab.com

You should end up with a .alx and .cod file! That can be used to install on ur BB

it tells me that there were no applications found for my device...what do i do?

Hello,
What I did..
1. I unzipped the files
2. I connected my bb to pc
3. Ran application loader
4. add.. (the file .alx).. next
5. look for themes in your bb
6. pick the added theme.

There is an application called zplorer that's FREE where you can unzip files on your blackberry.

do a search for ziplorer and you ll find a awesome app
install it and you´ll be able to unzip, zip and manage your bb files

Unzip all zip files on your computer first using either Winzip or Winrar. Connect your phone to your desktop. Then click the files you want to install to your BB phone and copy them or drag them to your BB. Hope this helps.

Do anyone can uploading ziplorer?? I think every BB user need it, coz I have one trouble
When, I had a zip file, I tried to unzip it, then I opened the folder in my mac, the folder contains ota and other files...so I tried one file that has biggest byte it named.ota, so I used my bluetooth
To send it to my BOLD, and I still can't opened the file....
Wew do anybody help me, to get the ziplorer app for my bold...get me a link

coz firs tunzip the zip file then open blackberry dasktop Manager and load the file by application loader.but remeber when transferring data from pc to balck berry device ur dvice must be connected via dasktop manager
