Exclamation A Possible Solution to the BB Messanger problems

IS Blackberry Messanger not in your phone? Did you try all possible Solutions?

What happened with my BBM (Blackberry Messanger) was that I deleted it when i first got the phone since I was the only one with a blackberry. Now I have 7. So when I went to BB's website to redownload it, it told me my phone is not supportive. SO spending about 2 hours on the phone with the idiots from Cingulars BB Dept, I finally went down to the store and demanded a warrentee replacement or something. The guy told me instantly what I had to do and gosh darn it, it worked and its not super hard. NOTE: THIS DID WORK WITH CINGULAR BUT I DO NOT SEE A REASON WHY IT SHOULDNT WORK WITH ANY OTHER US CARRIER

Step 1: On your Computer, go to: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Step 2: Select Blackberry Pearl 8100c AT&T (Again, I dont think this solution is limited to AT&T)

Step 3: Download the BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.2.1.154 (Multilanguage) software then run the installation. (I am sorry, when you run the setup, I do not know where the files install to on your computer yet)

Step 4: After that is done, load up your Blackberry Desktop Manager, and plug your phone into your computer

Step 5: Backup your phone

Step 6: Open Application Loader on your Desktop Manager

Step 7: You should be able to see Blackberry Messanger in the list of programs in Application Loader. Check the box next to it and click next.

Step 8: Enjoy

I Hope it works for you guys who are trying to reinstall BBM. I am not a pro at making step by step instructions sorry

Very cool stuff since many people seems to have lost the BBM

Kudos!!

PS: it feels very much like an upgrade procedure...that's since the BBM it's one of the apps that gets upgraded in the process...humm
