Is it possible to upgrade an 8300 to the 4.5 OS if your carrier does not support it? I have Cincinnati Bell, a local carrier, and would like to get the new features in 4.5, how ever it is not listed as available from the BB website.

So, any new news on the 8130 4.5 software download, last i read on hear it had been removed which is what i found today trying the link?

Hi, I have a voda 8310 UK and OS 4.2
Can I DL an official 4.5 OS from the BB site and install? which country should I select? The UK one is still 4.2 OS

And I am unable to install the new os. I have installed 4.6 desktop. The file I downloaded for 8130 OS is
8100M_PBr4[1].5.0_rel81_PL2.7.0.68_A4.5.0.55. I have tried several times to install, making sure to delete the vendor file etc. Dont know what the issue is. desktop does not see the update. Have tried reinstall, reboot, etc. next will be forget the update and get a new phonehttp://forum.eveek.com/images/smilies/Paf.gif
